Heatwave in Rajasthan, Rain Likely in Uttar Pradesh
According to the meteorological department, parts of Rajasthan are expected to experience a heatwave in the coming days. There are indications of a rise in maximum temperatures in some districts, such as Jodhpur, Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota regions on May 8th and 9th. During this period, the likelihood of a heatwave persists. However, on May 10th and 11th, due to the activation of the western disturbance, there may be instances of gusty winds and rainfall in regions like Udaipur, Kota, and Jodhpur. As a result, a decrease of 2-3 degrees Celsius in temperatures is anticipated from May 11th.
