In this Kharif season, the government has set a target of sowing cotton in an area of 19.25 acres. Under this, the Haryana government is giving a grant of Rs 3,000 per acre on indigenous cotton cultivation.To improve the economic condition of the farmers, many schemes are run by the government. Cultivation of many different and new types of crops has been encouraged by the state government. In this episode, the Haryana government is also giving a subsidy of Rs 3,000 per acre to the cotton cultivators, the government's emphasis on increasing the area under cotton.

Farmers desirous of getting the benefit of subsidy on cotton crop will have to first register on My Crop Mera Byora Portal. Farmers can get their registration done by June 30 by visiting the official website fasal.haryana.gov.in. Earlier, the last date to register for this was kept as May 31. In view of the demand of the farmers, this date has been extended.
