In the year 2018, the Himachal Pradesh government has started the 'Prakritik Kheti Khushal Kisan' scheme. In the last four years, about 1.54 lakh farmer families have adopted natural farming on 9200 hectares of land. In this current financial year, 12000 hectares of land will be brought under natural farming by adding 1.50 lakh farmers under this scheme. Now Himachal will get more benefit from the scheme to promote natural farming in the Union Budget. The state government is giving subsidy up to a maximum of 25 thousand on the purchase of Indian breed of cow. The state government is giving 50 percent subsidy on the purchase of Indian breed of cow on the basis of natural farming.
Up to a maximum of 25 thousand and five thousand as traffic fee. With the cooperation of the Central Government, such incentive works will get more impetus.
In the meeting of the Chief Minister's Council in Varanasi under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in December, the Himachal Pradesh government was also highly praised. Chief Ministers of all states including Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur have been asked to make arrangements for this subject in all their universities.
