On the beginning of the new year, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has released Rs.2,000 as 10th installment under Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana to more than 10 crore farmer families of the country. The Prime Minister transferred Rs 20,900 crore to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries in the program organized through video conference.
Earlier, the ninth installment of PM-Kisan was released to the farmers in August 2021. The 10th installment is given to the farmers between December 1 and March 31, which has been given to the farmers today. This installment released to the farmers is the third installment of the financial year 2021-22, that is, now all the installments of this year have been given to the farmers.
After this, the new year of PM-Kisan scheme for the financial year 2022-23 will start from the month of April, the first installment of which will be given to the farmers between April and July. Grants released for FPOs over Rs 14 crore to 351 Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs).
This will benefit 1.24 lakh farmers. The Chief Minister of nine states, ministers of various states and representatives of agricultural institutions also participated in this program in a virtual way.
