Last date 10th November registration of Kharif crops

To sell paddy and other Kharif crops on support price, it is necessary that farmers get their crops registered. In Chhattisgarh, an integrated portal has been prepared for the purchase of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana and Kharif crops at support price, on which only after registration, farmers will get the benefit of Kisan Nyay Yojana and purchase of Kharif crops at support price. 

Farmers will now be able to register in the Integrated Farmers Portal till November 10, 2021, to sell paddy under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana avail support price and input support under the scheme for cultivation of Kharif crops. The farmers of the state could earlier register till 31 October 2021. Which has now been extended till 10th November 2021. The portal of farmer registration has been opened till 10 November 2021. This registration is also necessary for selling paddy and other crops in the market on support price.

When and how much paddy will be purchased from the farmers this year, the Chhattisgarh government has set a target of more than the purchase of paddy every year this year. This year the state government has set a target to procure 5 lakh metric tonnes of paddy from the farmers of the state. Due to which the farmers of the state will get maximum minimum support price. 

Paddy procurement will be started from 1st December at Minimum Support Price. The benefit of Minimum Support Price will be available to the same farmer who is registered in Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana. How much subsidy will be given under the scheme? Under this scheme, there is a provision to provide input assistance at the rate of Rs 9 thousand per acre to farmers producing agricultural and horticultural crops in Kharif season. 

Apart from this, in the year 2020-21, the area in which paddy was cultivated and sold by the farmer at minimum support price, if that farmer grows aromatic paddy, other cereals, pulses, oilseeds, horticultural crops or plantations instead of paddy, then he will be called Grant-in-aid amounting to Rs.10 thousand per acre will be given per acre. The input assistance amount will be payable to the farmers planting trees for the next three years.

Where to register farmers

Rajiv Gandhi Nyay Yojana, farmer has to apply online. In order to facilitate the farmer and ease the process of registration, the state government has prepared the integrated farmer portal http://kisan.cg.nic.in by the government. The farmer will have to apply for new registration in the Integrated Farmer Portal in Form-1 along with the necessary documents like loan book, B-1, Aadhar number, photocopy of bank passbook.
