The situation is that due to lack of adequate supply of fertilizers on cooperatives, the shops of private fertilizer and seed sellers are getting crowded. On Saturday, queues of farmers were seen at private fertilizer seed shops located near Chungi Naka, SBI Bank, Old Bus Stand in Tonk, Rajasthan. It is noteworthy that in the midst of sufficient rainfall, farmers will now prepare the field and sow mustard. This time there is a possibility of bumper sowing in the area.
The farmers engaged in the preparation of sowing of Rabi crop are facing shortage of fertilizers. The fertilizer-seed vendors are upset due to lack of supply and not giving fertilizers to the farmers as per their demand. Rabi crop is to be sown in the area these days.
For this, along with preparing the fields, the cultivators are engaged in arranging fertilizers and seeds. The supply of DAP fertilizer for sowing is said to be short.
