Milk and its related works are such that they never fall in the grip of recession or any other crisis. After this pandemic situation, demand for milk increased and now it is also increasing day by day. In such a situation, you can make a daily income by opening a dairy. The government is also promoting the dairy industry. There is good news for the cattle owners. In fact, the Haryana government has taken an important step to promote animal husbandry. Due to which, the farmers doing animal husbandry will get more profit. Haryana's government is giving 25 percent subsidy on animal husbandry. This will give a big relief to the cattle owners.

According to Dr. Dharmendra, Deputy Director, Department of Animal Husbandry, many schemes were started in the Dairy Development Department to increase the income of cattle farmers. In which a scheme was included to provide loans up to 25 percent subsidy for opening a dairy of up to 10 animals. The Animal Husbandry Department has informed that the grant is divided into two categories, in which only 25 for four or 10 animals dairy. Loan will be given on percentage subsidy. Along with this, livestock owners inter
ested in rearing sheep, goats and pigs besides cows, buffaloes will also be eligible for 25 percent grant amount.

Eligibility To Apply

To avail this subsidy, the applicant must be a resident of Haryana

His age should be between 18 to 55 years.

Any training in animal husbandry related field is necessary.

NABARD has its office in every district. Here you can make and give a project of your dairy. The Animal Husbandry Department of the district can help you in this work. The officials of NABARD also keep sensitizing the youth from time to time to start their work.
