In the Rabi season year 2020-21, the crops of farmers had suffered a lot due to unseasonal rain and hailstorm in many states of the country. Rajasthan was also included in the states affected by hailstorm. To compensate for this crop loss in Rajasthan, a survey was conducted by the state government. According to which compensation has to be given to the farmers after assessing the loss. The CM has approved the notification for giving/release agricultural inputs to the hailstorm affected farmers.
The grant amount will be given to the farmers in the state in the Rabi
season 2020-21, the survey report of the crops damaged by hailstorm has
been approved. Under which crops were damaged in 85 villages of 11
districts of the state. There was 33 percent crop loss in these villages
due to hailstorm. On the basis of Girdavari report, 85 villages of 11
districts have been declared as deprivation. In view of this, the Chief
Minister of the state Shri Ashok Gehlot has approved the format of
notification to be issued for giving agricultural inputs to the farmers
by notifying the affected villages.
In the villages of these 11
districts, there was damage to the crops due to hailstorm. In the last
Rabi crop year or 2020-21 rabi season instructions were given for
Girdawari of crop damage due to hailstorm. On the basis of a special
report received from district collector on crop loss on that basis
different districts and block in which 28 in Jhunjhun district, 19 were
in Hanumangarh, 9 in Bharatpur, 8 in Kota, 6 in Sawai Madhopur, 4 Tonk
and 4 in Bikaner, where 2-2 in Churu, Chittorgarh and Barmer and one
village in Alwar district have been declared deprived.
