During the last few days weather are being seen changed in many states of the country. Some people are troubled by the strong sunlight, and somewhere due to heavy rains. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted heavy rains till July 8 along with strong thunderstorms in some states. Significantly, the department has issued a yellow alert in Karnataka from 7 to 8 July.

Countrywide weather systems
A trough is extending from foothills of Uttar Pradesh to Nagaland, across Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Assam. A Western Disturbance is seen over Pakistan and northern parts of Jammu and Kashmir, as a cyclonic circulation.
A Cyclonic Circulation is persisting over South-East Rajasthan. A North South Trough is extending from Northeast Bihar to Jharkhand and Gangetic West Bengal, up to South Odisha Coast. A Cyclonic Circulation lies over Sri Lanka and adjoining areas.

Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, parts of Rayalaseema, Chhattisgarh, parts of Telangana, Northeast Uttar Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Tamil Nadu, Interior Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh during next 24 hours. Light to moderate rain may occur over parts of North Coast. Light to moderate rain is possible over some parts of Bihar, Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, East Madhya Pradesh, isolated parts of Marathwada, South Madhya Maharashtra, Konkan and Goa, Western Himalayas and Southeast Rajasthan.
