This sowing information regarding crops has been given in the data of the Ministry of Agriculture. The Govt data said that till March 25, 2021, the water level in 130 reservoirs in the country was 86 % of the previous year.
Most depending on country for food the crop Paddy sown in 36.87 lakh hectare which is good so far in the Kharif season of 2021-22 (July-June). The area under paddy was 31.62 lakh hectare if we check the last year data during this time.
The sowing area increase is good for the country to export the produce where at some place if the govt do not want to sell in international market there is a risk of decrease price in domestic market.
