The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Ambawat) on Tuesday submitted a memorandum to the Chief Minister concerning the problems of farmers to Behat SDM. In which the solution to various problems of farmers has been demanded soon.
In the memorandum submitted to SDM Deepti Dev Yadav, the officials said that payment should be made for the purchase of paddy at government purchasing centers so that the farmer can sow the Rabi crop in time. Swami Nathan Report was also demanded to be implemented. The outstanding sugarcane should be paid along with interest
Farmers complained to SDM for not having gunny bags
Farmers are upset over the absence of gunny at the Paddy Procurement Center for several days. The trolley has been filled with paddy for several days, but due to the absence of gunny bags at the center, they are forced to return daily. Farmers have also complained to SDM. Demand has been sought. Hopefully, Bardana will come by Wednesday (today) morning. Paddy purchase will be started as soon as it arrives. SDM Nakud Himanshu Nagpal says that the gunnydom was reported to be over and will be made available soon.
These small kind of problems have to be faced by the farmers at different places. Some farmers were unable to sell their crops in different mandies after the agriculture act and when farmer claim for it they said sell your crop at your nearst Market. That means the act is only for traders not for farmers.
