A "Kheti Bachao Yatra" was launched under the leadership of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi from Moga, Punjab against agricultural laws. The visit was attended by Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh
, party state chief Sunil Jakhar, general secretaries KC Venugopal, Harish Rawat, and Navjot Singh Sidhu. Addressing the visit, Rahul said that there was a need to bring these laws in the midst of the crisis of the Corona epidemic. Also, in some areas of Punjab with the agriculture bills passed by the central government, the Congressmen took the road against the BJP government, calling this bill a black law. On Sunday, dozens of workers and farmers led by State Secretary Youth Congress Manu Chaudhary took out a tractor rally with party flags.
On the other hand, while there has been protesting in many states, the BJP minister said Union minister Raosaheb Danve made a big disclosure to Congress on protests in Punjab and Haryana against agricultural bills. He said that even though Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh's party (Congress) was opposing the new agricultural laws, he was part of the committee that studied the drafts of these laws.
Union Minister Piyush Goyal said on Saturday i.e 3rd Oct that three recently passed agricultural ordinances are game-changer decisions that will improve the lives of farmers and increase their income and double it. Also said that empowering farmers is the priority of the government.
Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Thawarchand Gehlot said that the Central Government has done a revolutionary work by passing agrarian reform bills keeping in mind the interests of farmers. This will give farmers twice the price of their produce. He accused the Congress of tricking the farmers over these bills and said that this was also the bill in their manifesto. These bills will not close any agricultural produce market nor will the support price be removed. There will be no change in it. He said that now farmers will be able to sell their produce outside the market. This will not pay any tax to the farmers. Congress and other opposing parties are only doing politics.
The Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shri Prakash Javadekar said that the three agricultural reform bills or ordinances passed by the central government will benefit the farmers. He said that the country is moving towards One Nation, One Market. This is a visionary step towards the transformation of agriculture and increasing the income of farmers.
Union Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Krishnapal Gurjar described agricultural laws in the interest of farmers. He was accompanied by MLAs Deepak Mangla, Jagdish Nair, and Praveen Dagar. Under the law, farmers will now be able to sell their produce outside the market. The MSP will not end and the system of Mandis will remain the same. Farmers have been given the option of an open market and where they can get expensive prices for their crops.
Haryana BJP Om Prakash Dhankhar said that all the three laws brought to improve the agriculture sector are completely beneficial for the farmers. The farmers of the state are grateful to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this. During this, Omprakash Dhankar assured that the system of Mandis will remain as before and crops will be purchased at the minimum support price. Overall, the system of procurement of farmers' crops in the Mandis is present, it will remain in this way.
At last, we only said that the agriculture bills turn into a political matter BJP and Congress just passing it from one side to another. In this political matter, farmers were crushing or they just playing a game on farmers' shoulders. If BJP thinks that it is a right for farmers then why are not passing an Act on MSP to clear the farmers' doubt and show that we are with farmers. If congress said this is not right for farmers then how it possible to pass the bill and they signed or agreed to for passing the bill. Now the farmers did not want any support from any party then they are coming to support them. This is not a fight to passing or refuse the bill this is farmers fight for their rights.
