VM Singh Supporting Farmers |
Welcome to Vatika Tech
VM Singh, convener of the All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee (AIKSCC), representing more than 250 farmer organizations across the country, VM Singh said that I am happy to see the young farmers of the country have raised their voice through digital method. The farmer is producing food to feed the nation, along with the lockdown, the farmers of the country are also fighting against the unseasonal rains and hailstorm in many parts. When the central government is waiving the debt of the industrialists of the country, then why is the government silent on the loan waiver of the farmers? The farmer of the country is working in the field even in these difficult time of covid19, so that our country people will not sleep hungry. Due to the lockdown, farmers are unable to sell vegetables, companies are not buying milk, fruits are not being sold, due to which they are facing huge economic difficulties. The unseasonal rains and hail storms in March and April have also caused heavy losses to farmers.
They are demanding to the govt relief of the farmers from the Central Government for a long time, and due to the corona virus, we did not even try to raise this issue at this time, but the farmers could fight the coronavirus and produce food for the country. While the present day industrialists are sitting in their homes. Despite this, the Center has forgiven the loan of Rs 66,607 crore of industrialists. Therefore, when the central government can waive the debt of industrialists, then why are they treating the farmers step-motherly?
Also said that apart from total debt waiver, other major demands of the farmers include fixing the cost of the crop on the basis of cost, as well as the provision of penalty and penalty on the purchaser at a price below the minimum support price in the market. When the farmer purchases diesel, manure and seeds and pesticides at the price fixed by the government, he should get the right to sell his crop at the minimum support price.
