There is a possibility of heavy rains with strong winds over Northeast India during the next three days. And in Northern states like Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and some parts of Punjab, Haryana, eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala may occur light to moderate rains.

Whereas West Bengal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Goa may receive light rains at one at two places. Also expected to dust storm in some places of Rajasthan during the 19th of April. The remaining parts of the southern and eastern parts of the country expected cloudy weather. In central parts of India, the day temperature is 30-37 degrees Celsius.

Now let's see what farmers should do

• Continue the harvesting of wheat and store the harvested crop at safer places.
• Pest infestation or pest attack may occur over cucurbits vegetables and in tomatoes, onions, ladyfingers, brinjal, and lobia. Farmers can control them by using 3 pheromones/acre or can be applied Spinosad 48 EC @ 1 ml /4 liter of water. This can be done during clear weather.
• Farmers can sow the mung, urad, millet, jawar during clear weather. Also, this weather is suitable for the sowing of cottonseed.
