Rajasthan Govt. Relief for formers
The Rajasthan State Government has taken important decisions in the interest of farmers during Lokdwon. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given relief to the farmers in view of the lockdown.

Principal Secretary of Agriculture and Cooperation Department, Naresh Pal Gangwar informed that approval for declaring private accessory market by giving around 460 purchase-sales and relaxation of Village Service Cooperative Societies and Tilam Union for the sale of agricultural commodities. Farmers will be able to bring their farm produce to cooperative societies near their farm and village.
Also, you will be able to get a competitive price by selling the open auctions of agricultural commodities. Now agricultural processing units like pulses mill, oil mill, flour mill, rice mill, etc. will not have to apply for mandi committees for a license.
Market committees will automatically issue a direct-purchase license to these processing units. The date of depositing securities equivalent to one day purchase has been extended to 30 June 2020.
Punjab Govt. For Farmers
Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh said that in view of harvesting of crops, farmers will be exempted from lockdown at the district-wise and village level so that there is not too much congestion at one place during the procurement of crops.
Also, the passes will provide to the farmers for selling the crops. Harvesting of the wheat crop has started in the state and procurement will start from April 15. Wheat procurement in the state will be done by May 31.
The number of Mandis has been increased from 1,800 to 3,800 in the state.
