5. West Bengal
West Bengal is on the fifth position in India with 1423417 Tonns in 245228 Ha. In West Bengal, the corn or maize is grown in Autumn, Rabi and Summer Season.
4. Rajasthan
Rajasthan is in fourth place with 1763557 tons in 870123 ha. In Rajasthan, the corn or maize is grown in the Kharif season.
3. Tamil Nadu
Tamil Nadu is in the top three states of producing the largest maize in India. In Tamil Nadu, the corn or maize is grown in Rabi and Kharif season with 2591632 tons in 324518 ha.
2. Bihar
Bihar is the second-largest producer of maize in India. In Bihar, the corn is grown in Autumn, Rabi and Summer Season with 3120772 tons in 677446 ha.
1. Karnataka
Karnataka is the largest producer of maize in India. In Karnataka, the maize is grown in Kharif, Rabi and Summer season with 5610665 tons in 1307008 Ha. The average yield maize in Karnataka is 4.29 T/ha.
