Shitla Jayoti

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research). It is a hybrid variety that is suitable for a warm humid climate. This variety is medium tall which is 110-150 cm in height, flowering starts in sowing with 4-5 nodes and 30-40 days after sowing. Variety has green fruit, 12-14 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 180-200 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV) and Okra Leaf Curl Virus(OLCV). This variety is released for Rajasthan, Gujarat, Haryana, Chhattisgarh, Orissa and Andhra Pradesh in India.

Shitla Uphar

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research). This variety is medium tall which is 110-130 cm in height, flowering starts in sowing with 4-5 nodes and 30-40 days after sowing. Variety has green fruit, 11-13 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 150-170 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV) and Okra Leaf Curl Virus(OLCV). This variety is released for Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh in India.


Kashi Satdhari

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research). This variety is medium tall which is 130-150 cm in height, flowering starts in sowing with 3-4 nodes and 42 days after sowing. Variety has green fruit, 13-15 cm long at the marketable stage and has 18-25 fruit and 7 ridges with yield 110-140 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV). This variety is suitable for Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand in India.

Kashi Vibhuti

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research). It is a dwarf growth variety that is suitable for the summer season. This variety is 60-70 in rainy and 45-50 in summer, flowering starts in sowing with 4-5 nodes and 38-40 days after sowing. Variety has 18-22 fruit, 8-10 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 170-180 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV) and Okra Leaf Curl Virus(OLCV). This variety is suitable for Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Haryana in India.

Kashi Mangali

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research) and release through AICRP. This variety which is suitable for summer and stands at high temperature. This variety is tall which is 120-125 cm in height, flowering starts in sowing with 4-5 nodes and 40-42 days after sowing. Variety has 5 fruit ridges and light green with yield 130-150 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV) and Okra Leaf Curl Virus(OLCV). This variety is released for Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Orissa, Jharkhand and Andhra Pradesh in India.

Hybrid- Kashi Bhairav

This variety is developed by ICAR-IIVR(Indian Insitute of Vegetable Research). It is a hybrid variety that is suitable for the entire country. This variety is medium tall which is 110-150 cm in height with 2-3 branches. Variety has dark green fruit, 10-12 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 200-220 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV) and Okra Leaf Curl Virus(OLCV).

Pusa Makhmali

This variety is developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). This variety is early, smooth and straight. Variety has light green fruit, 15-20 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 100 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV). This variety is released for India.

Pusa Sawani

This variety is developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). This variety is suitable for all seasons and in entire India. This variety is tall which is 120-150 cm in height, flowering starts in 40-50 days after sowing. Variety has 5 fruit ridges, 10-12 cm long at a marketable stage with yield 120-150 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV).

Pusa A 4

This variety is developed by the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI). This variety is dark green and single stem short internodes(2-4) with broad leaves with yield 140 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV).

Punjab Padmini

This variety is developed by Punjab Agriculture University. This variety has tall plants with 150-180 cm in height with dark green leaves. The variety starts first picking after 55 days of sowing and flowers at 45-50 days with yield 120-125 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV).

Arka Anamika

This variety is released by IIHR, Bangalore. Variety has two borne fruit flushes and first is on the main stem after 45-50 days of sowing. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV) with yield 120 q/ha.

Parbhani Kranti

This variety is released by MKV, Maharashtra. This variety is medium tall, single-stemmed and fruits are dark green with a tender smooth surface, fruit size 8-9cm at marketable stage and leaves are deeply lobed. Variety fruits have a good keeping quality with yield 100-110 q/ha. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus (YVMV).

Co 1

This variety is developed by the Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. The plants are medium tall with 90-120 cm in height.variety has deeply lobed leaves with 5-7 lobes. variety suitable for rainy, winter and summer seasons in Tamil Nadu state.

Hybrid CO 3

This variety is released by Coimbatore (TNAU). First flowering will appear in 40 days and first picking in 45 days. Crop duration is 100-110 days with yield 160-180 q/ha. This variety is moderate resistance to Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV).

Hisar Unnat (HRB 55)

This variety is developed by Haryana Agricultural University. Variety has a medium-tall height and produces 3-4 branches each with green fruit measure full length 15-16cm at the time of full maturity.  First Picking starts in 46-48 days with 120-130 q/ha. Variety is suitable for summer as well as the rainy season. This variety is resistant to the Yellow Vein Mosaic Virus(YVMV).
